Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures unique specialty trailers and vehicles and large format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions for brands across the industry spectrum including Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch. Our Craftsmen team includes one subsidiary, Schantz Manufacturing. Schantz focuses on custom manufacturing of concession trailers for the fair and festival industry.

Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: St. Charles, MO

Position Summary: This position will provide administrative duties to maintain, monitor and train on Craftsmen Industries' Quality Management Software System (Trubox). Duties will include creating, opening, and closing customer service manufacturing orders as well as provide support to Quality processes and paperwork.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Quality Management Software System (Trubox) – Document / Nonconformance / Corrective Action / Calibration / Employee / Training.
  • Monitor scheduled actions, open /close warranty orders and open/close customer service orders.
  • Support and train all departments on proper utilization of Trubox.
  • Assist with revising documents, uploading, and maintaining documents.
  • Help in preparing and updating documents and product manuals.
  • Learn and cross train in Quality System Requirements.
  • Proper use of measurement devices.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand customer service documents.
  • Assist with customer service phone inquiries and correspondences.

Required Skills:

  • High School or equivalent.
  • Communication, Computer skills, Internet skills, Microsoft Office, writing / technical writing, mechanical aptitude, proper use of measurement devices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous Office Administration or Customer Service experience.
  • Ability to learn calibration system requirements.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
