Position Title: Customer Service Technical Supervisor

Location: St. Charles, MO

Position Summary:

Perform Customer Service work to meet specifications, quality, and deadlines in-house or off-site. Supervise and train customer service mechanic(s), provide product technical support to customer service representatives and customers/vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer service projects and crew.
  • Grow and develop Customer Service capabilities and knowledge base.
  • Supervise and lead customer service mechanic(s) and/or production mechanic(s).
  • Make decisions that affect probability and quality of products.
  • Troubleshoot non-routine problems and resolve issues independently.
  • Teach, coach, and instruct lower-level employees.
  • Use, train, and maintain all equipment and tools required to perform customer service work.
  • Work directly with customers and help resolve both internal/external issues.
  • Work with Engineering, attend design review meetings and assist in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Communicate problems/issues found within other departments Production/Engineering/Project Mgmnt/Quality.

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Trade School a plus)
  • 5+ years of customer service / supervisory experience preferred.
  • Willingness to offer solutions that ensures the Company's overall profitability and quality.
  • Must be comfortable making critical decisions independently and/or within a group.
  • Effective verbal/nonverbal communication skills.
  • Mechanical Aptitude & Troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to change schedules, reassign work, and/or change methods of production when responding to customer needs.
  • Take classes and seminars to improve management skills and maintain knowledge/experience in all aspects of shops.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to use Respiratory protection as needed.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to ascend/descend ladder and climb in and out of trailers as well as work atop scaffolding.
  • Physically able to move and transport up to 75 lbs.
  • Travel may be required for on-site field support, assistance, repair.
