Position Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Location: St. Charles, MO

Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician with Networking experience to install, maintain, troubleshoot electrical systems, and network systems for custom manufactured trailers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the electrical field and some network experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Running and terminating circuits.
• Networking Installation.
• Manage workload and successfully meet daily hour requirements.
• Troubleshoot and identify solutions to custom electrical, cable & network applications.
• Generally, support team efforts by pitching in and learning the new skills and disciplines necessary to complete custom jobs.
• Work with Project Manager & Engineering department to develop and document information to satisfy customer requirements.
• Assist team in the development of custom builds.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Engineering Technology and a minimum of 1 years' experience with electrical or networking systems.
• Ability to display mechanical aptitude, trouble shooting and networking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Capability of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and/or commercial environment.
• Experience with NEC code book.
• Experience with audio, visual, or AV wiring.
• Conduit and PLC installation experience.
• Competence to learn new skills and be flexible as work needs change.
• 75% Shop Floor/ 20% Desk Work/5% Travel.

Preferred Skills:

• 3D Modeling Software and/or Solidworks experience.
• Ability to read schematics.
• 2+ years relevant work experiences with trouble shooting, use of electrical mechanical process, in a shop floor and network building environment.

Physical Requirements:

• • Physical ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
  • Physically able to climb in and out of trailers, scaffolding and ladders.
  • Ability to lift & carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Some travel may be required for on-site assistance/repair.
