Graphics Account Manager

Position Title: Graphics Account Manager

Location: St. Charles, MO

Position Summary:

The Graphics Account Manager provides exceptional service to our customers managing graphic projects from initial development of quotes thru delivery within established timelines. Duties involve managing projects so that they flow through production with all the required assets and information to ensure an accurate completion of the project. Additionally, this role identifies growth opportunities and processes to grow revenue to ensure a competitive edge.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of productivity and customer service managing graphic projects from sales through delivery.
  • Maintain customer accounts, provide estimates of graphic projects, convert estimate into an order and when needed, update any notes/production instructions.
  • Utilize company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and company established procedures/processes to execute projects in a timely manner.
  • Prepare requisition materials needed.
  • Pre-flight files and communicating with customer, as needed.
  • Communicate with graphic and/or shop production departments of new and existing graphic orders and completion dates.
  • Schedule any installations (in house or on-site), as needed.
  • Keep customers updated on the status of their order.
  • Complete packing slips and communicate any job specific instructions to the shipping department. Provide email tracking numbers to customers, as needed.
  • Review orders and mark as Sale when project has been completed.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of experience and/or technical school in graphics.
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills required and practiced with all internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in all MS Office products, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, spec sheets, and other technical documentation as well as resolve graphic problems as they arise.
  • Knowledgeable of print processes and media.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Customer service skills to support internal/external customers with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Organizational skills to execute in timely manner.
  • Ethical business conduct.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in graphics or related field.
  • Experience with ERP system Control.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing and walking in office, warehouse and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to bend, lift, and position self to move about the office, as needed.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds may be required.
  • Required use of fingers and hands to operate a computer.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close and/or color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
