Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures unique specialty trailers and vehicles and large format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions for brands across the industry spectrum including Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch. We pride ourselves on creating our products fully in-house from initial design and engineering to fabrication and the finishing touches of graphics and paint.

Our Craftsmen team includes two subsidiaries, Schantz Manufacturing and Trans-Lux Fair-Play Corporation. Schantz focuses on custom manufacturing of concession trailers for the fair and festival industry. Trans-Lux specializes in the production of custom LED displays, lighting solutions, and digital scoreboards for sports and commercial markets.

Position Summary: Pickup and deliver material and parts as coordinated by the Purchasing Department. Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed.

Position Title: Parts Driver

Location: St. Charles, MO

Primary Responsibilities:

• Package outbound freight to ensure that all shipments to customer or suppliers will be

• Work with Purchasing to organize daily material pick up requirements.
• As scheduled, pick-up material and supplies to support normal business operations.
• Deliver material and paperwork to Shipping and Receiving to be received.
• As required, deliver material and parts to project Leads and the parts room.
• Inspect vehicles daily.
• Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers as needed.
• Drive forklift as required to complete tasks.
• Assist in cleaning vehicles and the shipping/ receiving areas.
• Act as a professional representative of Craftsmen while delivering and picking up material at vendors and customer sites.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform any other assignments directed by Operations Planning Manager.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Chauffer's license (Class E) or CDL
• Organizational skills
• Must be internally motivated
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to remain in a stationary position
• Must be able to position self to move, bend, and lift
• Ability to ascend/descend steps or ladders
• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions
• Local travel required
