Position Title: Production Supervisor

Location: St. Charles, MO

Schedule: 2pm – Midnight (4-Days/10-Hour Shift)

Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing members of the production floor teams. Responsible for maintaining project schedules in coordination with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure a quality product is delivered within applicable timelines, consistent with Company manufacturing and safety procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Practice Lean Manufacturing and set expectation of performance, quality, and timelines with production crews.
• Ensure safety of shop floor employees through good housekeeping and safe practices by way of daily shop walks to identify potential safety risks and/or issues. Ensure safety audits are completed on schedule.
• Responsible for promoting a positive attitude and serve as a role model with positive communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Must follow up on IQS noncompliance, corrections, and solutions to nonconformance materials and discrepancies.
• Point out all potential roadblocks/inefficiencies to Operations Manager, Engineering and Project Managers to ensure manpower and crews are properly staffed.
• Ensures proper maintenance oversite to all shop equipment and reports maintenance issues to Operations Manager and Manufacturing Engineer.
• Ensure cost effective manufacturing operations and perform to budgeted costs (For example, help set production hours and enforce employee start/end times as well as justify overtime as its needed).
• Notify Operations Manager of any manpower needs including outside labor as needed.
• Make sure lots are cleared and assist crews when short staffed.
• Make sure job books are kept up-to-date in accordance to ISO standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance OR equivalent experience.
• 5 + years' Supervisory work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
• Ability to climb in and out of trailers, scaffolding and up ladders.
• Physically able to lift 75 lbs.
• Some travel may be required for onsite assistance/repair.
