Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures unique specialty trailers and vehicles and large format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions for brands across the industry spectrum including Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch. Our Craftsmen team includes two subsidiaries, Schantz Manufacturing and Trans-Lux Fair-Play Corporation. Schantz focuses on custom manufacturing of concession trailers for the fair and festival industry. Trans-Lux specializes in the production of custom LED displays, lighting solutions, and digital scoreboards for sports and commercial markets.

Position Title: Shop Tech 2

Location: Highland, IL

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and talented Shop Tech 2.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize all skills necessary to manufacture and build a variety of products and vehicles to meet specifications, quality and deadlines.
• Work under direct supervision with little discretion to deviate
• Work from written and verbal instruction (i.e. Drawings, MO's, & Supervisors)
• Work within a team setting and can communicate and show interpretation of work
• Use and maintain equipment and tools for the specific job duties (welders, shear, paint guns and pressure pots, forklifts, etc.)

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma, Trade School, or work-related experience.
• 1-2 Years of technical experience required.
• Certificate in field of applied position preferred
• Ability to pass Craftsmen internal testing to show designated ability in your field (Either with actual testing {Welding/ Painting} or at Sr. Lead acceptance).
• Ability to solve routine problems in nature within their respected file.
