Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: St. Charles, MO

Position Summary:

Craftsmen Industries is a growing organization, and we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. This role blends both leadership skills with active participation in day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional team performance. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and also actively involved in the everyday operations of the Receiving, Parts Room, Shipping and Material Handling functions associated with the company's parts and materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direction, training and support to Supply Management staff.
• Ensure incoming parts/materials are received properly in accordance with company procedures and best practices.
• Ensure parts/materials are stored and delivered correctly.
• Ensure outbound shipments are executed timely and in accordance with company procedures and best practices.
• Lead and assist with cycle counting and other inventory control actions to maintain an accurate inventory.
• Source suppliers and place orders for materials, supplies and services, as needed, to support Operations and replenish stock.
• Be an advocate and champion for continuous improvement.
• Work in coordination with Department Director to ensure consistent direction and objectives.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent and five years of warehouse and supply management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years previous supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Receiving, Shipping and Inventory Control Systems and practices.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Customer service skills to support internal/external customers with a "can-do" attitude.
• Organizational skills to execute job duties in a in timely manner.
• Forklift Certification.

Preferred:

Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP system.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing and walking in office, warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to bend, lift, and position self to move about the office, as needed.
• Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds may be required.
• Required use of fingers and hands to operate a computer, forklift and other hand tools.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close and/or color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
